CACTUS CLUB CAFE
COQUITLAM CENTRE

Elevating casual fine dining with a fully customized back-of-house and bar program tailored for efficiency and experience.

CACTUS CLUB CAFE - COQUITLAM CENTRE

Project Overview

Cactus Club Cafe offers casual fine dining with a focus on globally inspired dishes and beverages, quality ingredients and great service.

Foundry executed a full stainless and equipment package on this project. The kitchen is outfitted with custom stainless stations and worktables, top-of-the-line equipment and floor-to-ceiling stainless cladding in the warewashing station.

The beautiful, wood-finished bar is framed in stainless, with services running through, and a stainless foot rail to maximize guest comfort.

Project Goals

Optimal Efficiency and Performance

Deliver a tailored stainless and equipment solution to support high-volume, high-quality food service.

Functionality and Guest Comfort

Integrate durable and aesthetic stainless elements within the wood-finished bar to optimize functionality and guest comfort.

Seamless Cohesion

Coordinate design, fabrication, and installation for a cohesive and efficient back and front-of-house buildout.

Project Outcomes

Integrated Functionality

Custom stainless stations, worktables, and cladding resulted in a workspace designed for efficiency and durability.

Guest-Focused Design

The bar’s stainless detailing, including the comfort-driven foot rail, elevated both form and guest experience.

Full-Scope Execution

Foundry provided a full-service solution from equipment planning to final installation, ensuring readiness for launch.

Solution & Approach

With Cactus Club Cafe’s emphasis on both performance and presentation, our approach was grounded in precision, customization, and alignment with the client’s vision.

By partnering closely with the operations and design teams, we ensured that every detail (from cladding to counter) reflected the brand’s quality and pace.

Design & Installation

To create a highly functional kitchen environment, we installed custom stainless workstations and floor-to-ceiling cladding in the dish-pit, ensuring durability and ease of maintenance.

The bar design featured wood finishes accented by a stainless foot rail and framework, blending visual warmth with structural performance. Services were carefully routed through the bar structure, integrating functionality with a clean, modern finish.

1. Schematic Design

2. Design Development

3. Consulting & Specification

We start with an initial exploration with our clients and their space. This allows our team to establish requirements and provide solutions and layouts within architectural parameters.

A preliminary schematic layout is then developed with a focus on kitchen flow and cooking intent.

Once the general schematic has been approved by the client, we further coordinate and consult on the project with our team, which includes mechanical, electrical, architectural, and structural.

We manage the project from start to finish and continue to overcome any issues discovered during the construction phase.

Our commitment to excellence doesn’t end once the project is complete. We believe in building lasting relationships with our clients by continuing to support them long after the initial design and installation phases.

Through our consulting services, we provide expert guidance to help clients fine-tune their operations, adapt to evolving needs, and maintain peak performance in their foodservice facilities.
