Project Overview

Marilena Cafe & Raw Bar is Toptable Group’s prestigious new venture on Vancouver Island, setting a benchmark in Victoria with its commitment to high-quality global and local seafood, complemented by a Japanese raw bar. As the newest flagship restaurant, Marilena exemplifies the group’s renowned standards for excellence and attention to detail.

Part of the esteemed Toptable Group, known for iconic establishments like Blue Water Café, Elisa, and Cin Cin, Marilena marks the group’s first foray into British Columbia’s capital, Victoria. The restaurant is celebrated for its exceptional seafood offerings, both local and international, and features a sophisticated Japanese raw bar.

Special attention was given to the mechanical setups and refrigeration systems to support the unique needs of a high-end seafood and raw bar kitchen.

We start with an initial exploration with our clients and their space. This allows our team to establish requirements and provide solutions and layouts within architectural parameters.

A preliminary schematic layout is then developed with a focus on kitchen flow and cooking intent.

Once the general schematic has been approved by the client, we further coordinate and consult on the project with our team, which includes mechanical, electrical, architectural, and structural.

We manage the project from start to finish and continue to overcome any issues discovered during the construction phase.

Our commitment to excellence doesn’t end once the project is complete. We believe in building lasting relationships with our clients by continuing to support them long after the initial design and installation phases.
