Our Sales Process
The Foundry
Sales Process
We understand our clients need equipment that works as hard as they do.
That is why our experienced sales consultants focus on specifying the right products for the unique demands of each kitchen and concept. We help our customers with equipment specification, walk-ins and refrigeration, kitchen exhaust, subcontractor services and more. We strive to apply our expertise and resources throughout the entire sales process to ensure the highest end value to our clients.
How We Work
Consultation
Starting with curiosity and an open mind – we spend time in discovery as we first understand the needs of the foodservice operation. We review available concept plans, visit locations, and discuss menu items. We then act as consultants – advising what we feel is the best direction for the commercial kitchen package. (If our clients have chosen to work with Foundry Foodservice Design on the design of the package – we collaborate with our expert designers)
Specification
From a more informed and considered baseline, we can then apply our product knowledge to the specification of each piece of equipment. Keep operational demands, space constraints and desired budget in mind every step of the way. Our Sales Consultants specify the full range of equipment required to complete a commercial kitchen. Commercial foodservice equipment, walk-in refrigeration, kitchen ventilation, dishwashing, storage and fixtures.
Services Scope
Once we have specified a customized equipment package, we review the required services our customers need to complete the unit installation, kitchen renovation or new construction project. These services include our available in-house services of Project Management, SS Installation, White-Glove Delivery. The scope can also include trusted Foundry sub trade partners. Such as mechanical engineers, fire suppression, refrigeration and equipment technicians, HVAC and more.
Proposal
Now that we have invested the time and energy to understand our customers needs and create a suitable scope of products and services – we are ready to prepare and present our proposal. We pay attention to every detail to ensure our clients are not left without a critical consideration on opening day.
Project Management
Foundry offers our clients exclusive access to our Project Management services. Not to be overlooked, Project Management is the anchor to a successful commercial kitchen project. At Foundry, we strive to go above and beyond – as we know how difficult executing a commercial kitchen can be. And how costly it can be if construction details are missed or unnecessary delays are experienced.
Coordination
Upon confirmation of working together – we get to work on coordinating the agreed upon scope of products and services. We collaborate with our team to purchase, fabricate, plan, schedule, deliver and install. We pay attention to every detail, from initial order entry to final documentation.
Handover
Once we have hit substantial completion, we initiate the handover of our kitchen package. We ensure we have delivered all products and our in-house service teams and sub trades have addressed any deficiencies. We also provide additional optional handover services such as stainless peeling, shelving assembly, equipment commissioning, custom warranty guides, and product training.
